It's Almost Here! The 5 in 5 Yoga Challenge

5 Yoga Practices to Inspire You in 5 Minutes a Day | We Start Monday!✨

Happy Solstice!

No matter what hemisphere of the planet you’re in, whether you’re shifting toward Summer or toward Winter, it is a time of change and transition.

As someone who loves to align with the rhythms of nature, I take time near the solstices to celebrate how far I’ve come, release what doesn’t serve me, realign my goals and intentions, and revamp my daily yoga routine.

Check out yesterday’s special International Yoga Day post if you missed it!

Getting on my mat daily is as important as my journaling and meditation. I understand that my slow lifestyle allows more space for these practices.

For those with busy lives or who have never incorporated these practices before, it may seem impossible, but I am here to let you know there is always a way.

Starting Small: 5 Minutes a Day

Having a daily yoga practice sounds dreamy, but it can be very difficult when balancing work, caring for your home and family, and managing your time and energy.

I invite you to start super small.

If you're ready to start a daily practice but know you're limited on time, starting this Monday, June 24th, I invite you to join me for the 5 in 5 Yoga Challenge.

To make the most of this challenge and deepen your practice, consider becoming a paid subscriber.

As a paid subscriber, you’ll receive exclusive content and additional resources to support your journey.

Your support allows me to continue creating valuable content and bringing you even more ways to enhance your well-being.

Why Join This Challenge?

  • Establishing a daily practice, even if it’s just 5 minutes, helps build consistency. This small, manageable commitment can lead to forming a lasting habit.

  • A few minutes of focused movement and breathwork can significantly reduce stress and improve your overall sense of well-being. It’s a great way to reset during a busy day.

  • These short practices are designed to help you shift your energy. Whether you need to wake up, focus, or unwind, there’s a sequence that fits your needs.

This Challenge Is For You If…

  • You’re looking to start a yoga practice but feel overwhelmed by time constraints.

  • You want to add a quick, effective routine to your day.

  • If you want to connect with your body and mind, even with a busy schedule.

  • When looking for a gentle introduction to daily movement and mindfulness practices.

  • You want to introduce small breaks into your day.

  • You are new to yoga and don’t know where to start.

  • You want to reintroduce yoga into your daily routine.

During the next 5 days, I will share a 5-minute movement practice to help you shift your energy.

Each day, you'll spend just 5 minutes on your mat, focusing on different themes to create lasting positive change.

I will share with you:

  • A 5-minute video yoga practice every day. (all)

  • Daily inspiration directly to your inbox. (paid subscribers)

  • PDFs with the written sequences. (paid subscribers)

  • Music playlist to accompany your practice. (paid subscribers)

I know that 5 minutes a day may not sound like much, but I firmly believe that starting super small can create sustainable and lasting positive change.

Tips for the 5 in 5 Yoga Challenge

Welcome to the 5 in 5 Yoga Challenge! To help you make the most of these five days, here are some tips to enhance your experience and keep you motivated:

1. Set a Daily Routine

  • Try to practice at the same time each day to build a habit. Whether it's in the morning to start your day or during a midday break, consistency will help you stay committed.

  • Designate a specific area for your practice, free from distractions. Add elements like a yoga mat, candles, or soothing music to make it inviting.

2. Prepare Your Mind and Body

  • Drink a glass of water before or after your practice to stay hydrated.

  • Choose clothes that allow you to move freely and feel comfortable.

3. Stay Present

  • Begin each practice by setting an intention, reminding yourself of why you choose to show up to this challenge. This could be a word or a phrase that reflects how you want to feel or what you want to focus on during your session.

  • Use your breath to guide your movements. Deep, mindful breathing enhances the connection between your body and mind.

4. Listen to Your Body

  • Observe how you feel throughout the practice and allow yourself the space to modify, vary, or skip postures altogether.

  • These sessions are designed to be gentle and accessible. Move mindfully and honor where you are each day.

5. Reflect and Journal

  • Take a few minutes after each practice to reflect on how you feel. Use the journaling prompts provided to deepen your connection to the theme.

  • Note any changes in your energy levels, mood, or physical state throughout the challenge.

6. Enjoy the Process

  • Remember, this challenge is for you. Enjoy the journey, be kind to yourself, and celebrate your commitment to self-care.

7. Use the Resources

If you’re a member of the Inner Circle, besides the daily yoga class you will have access to several extra resources to support you and keep you engaged and inspired:

  • Playlists: Use the curated playlists to enhance your practice and keep you energized.

  • Journaling Prompts: Engage with the prompts to deepen your reflection and connection to each day's theme.

  • Written Sequences: I will share with you a PDF of each practice so that you can use it when you don’t have access to the videos.

By following these tips, you'll create a meaningful and enjoyable experience for yourself during the 5 in 5 Yoga Challenge. Remember, the goal is to awaken and connect with yourself, so be gentle and have fun! See you on the mat!
