REPLAY | Rainy Day Productivity Session 🌧️

Join me for a cozy session with Pomodoro Sprints 🍅

Hello friend!

I hope you’re having a gentle and nourishing seasonal transition and finding space to reconnect with yourself.

Of the twenty-one days of this month so far, fifteen have been rainy. They say it may be the rainiest March in 100 years in Barcelona, and my writer self couldn’t be more pleased.

I like to describe the novel I am writing as cozy contemporary fiction, the type of light book perfect for curling up under a blanket on a gloomy day and letting yourself dive into the characters' lives.

Maybe that’s why these rainy days feel just right for polishing the manuscript. Whether I stay home or tuck into a corner at a café, I’m not sure why, but something about the sound, smell, and feel of the rain helps me get in the mood and find the flow.

Writing Sessions

Yesterday, I hopped on a Substack Live and spent a couple of hours in community writing, correcting, and editing my novel doing the Pomodoro Method, one of my favourite ways to be productive in a sustainable and balanced way.

Thank you,

, , , , and those who tuned in! It feels amazing to create in community.

If you missed it, I hope you enjoy this replay, and perhaps you join me for one of the upcoming sessions:

Gloomy Day Activities ⛈️

Here are a few of my favourite cozy-weather rituals and activities, I hope they’ll inspire your own:

Whatever the weather is like where you are, I hope you’re finding small ways to slow down, reconnect, and savour this new season.

And if it happens to be raining—maybe lean in, get cozy, and let it guide you into your own creative flow.

With warmth,

Laia 🌧️✨
