Hello and welcome to this special edition of The Pause!
I hope you’re doing well and you’ve been enjoying the Summer Slow Productivity series.
Last Sunday, I had a lovely time hosting a live online Slow Productivity workshop, Creating without Burnout, where we explored a kinder, more sustainable approach to working, creating, and ultimately, living.
So many of us feel the pull of hustle culture: stuck in the hamster wheel, overwhelmed by the pressure to do more, faster, endlessly. This workshop was designed as an invitation to pause, slow down, and discover sustainable rhythms that help you create without burning out.
I shared six tools that have supported me in writing my novel, teaching yoga, and building a creative life (while navigating a chronic illness), and I hope that at least one of these techniques will be of benefit in your journey:
