In Catalonia, April 23rd is all about books, roses, and legends. As Sant Jordi approaches, I’m reflecting on the beauty of stories, reclaiming our attention, and how reading can be a quiet act of resistance. 🌹📚✨
Its known as World Book Day here in the UK. It's mainly targeted to children, they dress up for school as their favourite characters. Back in the day we used to get book vouchers. So sad they don't do this for adults 🤔 maybe next year I can reach out to my local book shops to see if they would be up for running an event!

Omg! Let me know what they say, that’d be so cool! 😍
Thank you for reading, I hope you've enjoyed this piece 💛
Do they celebrate International Book day, or have any other book-related holidays where you live?
Congratulations on your book! Wish I was in Barcelona this time of year to witness the festivities in person!
