Why does it sound so simple yet so difficult! 😭

I'm typically a non-fiction reader and have been challenging myself to read more fiction this year. It's been difficult because my local library is closed for refurbishment.

I did enjoy reading a book recently called Cosy Crime. It's full of short stories, and it's been great as recently I've been struggling to find a good read, and don't want to commit to a full story.

I'm also like you Laia, I'm not one for romance novels, which is unfortunately what most people have been recommending 😅

Some recent fiction books I have enjoyed are:

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

The Full Moon Coffee Shop by Mai Mochizuki (English translation)

In a Thousand Different Ways by Cecelia Ahern

The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi

Four Seasons in Japan Nick Bradley

I Was the Cat by Paul Tobin and Benjamin Dewey if you like graphic novels.

I have started on the Noughts and Crosses series. It's been on my list to read since secondary school. Guys, I was not ready! The first book hit

I would love to hear other people's recommendations!

Oh no! Closed library is a low-key tragedy. And yes, seems like a simple habit, reading a bit every day, yet it can be quite difficult.

Thank you for the recommendations! I’ve read a couple of them but not the others so adding them to the list since we have similar taste in books!
