Well, friends, life has been exciting, fun, and a little chaotic, and I often need to recalibrate and come back to myself.
I turned 38 this week, and I’ve been spending some time redefining the self-care practices I want to bring with me in this next revolution around the Sun.
There are many practices I like to use that ground me, like simple meditation and breathing techniques, but sometimes, especially when I travel a lot, the best thing I can do when I want to come back to the present moment, is get on my yoga mat and move my body.
That doesn’t mean I want a vigorous practice, however.
To counteract the effects of the chaos and stress of everyday life, what I truly need is slow, conscious movement and intentional breath.
Today I want to share with you, my lovely Substack subscribers, a yoga practice designed to bring you right back to the present moment, all while staying close to the ground. 🧘🏾♀️🌿
I crafted this 25-minute session to help you reconnect with the here and now through gentle, accessible poses that encourage mindfulness and serenity.
We'll flow through a floor sequence that invites you to tune into your breath and sensations, bringing you back to the present.
No experience necessary, no need to be bendy, fit, or anything at all… just come as you are.
